Warranty

Elinchrom products will be repaired or, at Elinchrom's discretion, replaced free of charge if, within 24 months from the date of purchase from an authorized Elinchrom dealer, their operation is impaired due to a manufacturing or material defect. The defective product should be returned without undue delay to Elinchrom or an authorized Elinchrom dealer or service partner. This commercial warranty is provided in addition to any mandatory statutory consumer rights that may apply under applicable law.

Please read the following warranty conditions, limitations, and exclusions:

• Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
• Warranty claims shall be handled through Elinchrom or an authorized Elinchrom dealer or service partner in accordance with the current service procedures.
• The warranty does not cover transportation, shipping, insurance, customs duties, taxes, or any other costs associated with returning or receiving the product unless otherwise required by applicable law.
• Warranty service for products purchased outside the customer's country of residence may be subject to local service arrangements. Please contact Elinchrom or your local authorized distributor for assistance. Please find a list of the national Elinchrom Agent/Distributor and Dealers on www.elinchrom.com.
• Products purchased from unauthorized dealers or unauthorized online marketplaces are not covered by the Elinchrom commercial warranty. Any mandatory statutory consumer rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

General Warranty Information

Flash electronics and mechanics

• 24-month warranty for electronic and mechanical components, excluding capacitors, flashtubes, modelling lamps and other consumable parts.

Lead-Gel batteries

• Lead-Gel batteries are guaranteed for up to 500 recharge cycles within 12 months, with up to 30% capacity loss.

Li-Ion batteries

• Li-Ion batteries are guaranteed for up to 500 recharge cycles within 12 months, with up to 20% capacity loss.

Warranty Exclusions

Consumable items such as sync cords, fuses, modelling lamps and batteries for remote devices are excluded from this warranty.

• Other consumable parts are also excluded from this warranty
• Please refer to the respective manufacturer's warranty where applicable

Transportation damage

• Damaged packaging or contents should be examined whilst the carrier is present and signed for as received damaged.
• Damage caused by transportation and shipping must be claimed from the carrier.

Misuse

This warranty does not cover equipment, which has been:

• Misused.
• Dismantled, modified, or repaired by an unauthorized Service Agent.
• Used under extreme cold, hot, dusty, or wet/humid conditions.
• Damaged by the incorrect use of third-party accessories or parts.

Unsatisfactory operation

No responsibility can be accepted for any damage resulting from incorrect operation of the equipment, nor for any wasted materials, or other consequential loss.

Statutory Consumer Rights (EU)

This commercial warranty is provided in addition to, and does not limit or replace, any mandatory statutory consumer rights under applicable law.

Where required by applicable law, a repair performed under statutory warranty may result in an extension of the statutory liability period. Any such extension is governed solely by the applicable national legislation and does not constitute an extension of this commercial warranty.

Nothing in this warranty shall exclude or limit any rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
