    Tom Bol

Creative. Outgoing. Detailed. Funny. This is how clients describe Tom and his crew. His career began with a journalism degree and wanderlust.

It continues with portraits, edgy light and restless creative energy. And praise from clients and national advertisements featuring his work. He often logs over 20,000 roadtrip miles a year creating images. Not to mention airplanes. He loves espresso, grunge bands and desert sunsets. And exploring light.

When you don't catch Tom on the phone chances are you will get Cree, his wife, who manages the office, produces shoots and pulls stock submissions. She holds down the fort when Tom is on the road.

Tom produces images for a variety of editorial, commercial and advertising clients. One day you might find him photographing a fighter pilot for a trade magazine, the next day photographing ice climbers for a national ad campaign. Recently he photographed the Iditarod Sled Dog Race in Alaska for a tourism bureau.

"I've spent a lot of time in cold places from Antarctica to the Arctic, but waiting in a snowbank at 30 below zero gets a little chilly. But then you see these mushers and their dogs racing across the frozen landscape. You forget about the cold, grab your camera and start shooting. It is a Jack London moment, a beautiful, timeless scene...”
