The latest EL Skyport Software 3.1.3 is now online. More complete and more stable than ever, the latest version is compatible with Mac OS 10.5 - 10.8.3 and WIN XP, 7 and 8.
The EL-Skyport Software is a computer software which enables you to control all your Elinchrom RX flash units from one position.
All you need to work like a pro with your Elinchrom RX units is the EL-Skyport USB RX module and the free EL-Skyport Software.
The Skyport Software enables you to remote individually or by group:
- +/- Flash power: in Ws or F-Stop similar digits.
- +/- Modelling lamp: in Ws or F-Stop similar digits.
- Set Flash Groups: from 1 to 4.
- Set Photo Cell: on/off.
- Set Ready Charge Beep: on/off and up to 7 variations - useful to identify up to 7 different units.
- Set Flash Delay: used with an open shutter, the first flash is synchronized and releases all other flashes with programmable delays from 0.1 s to 16.7 seconds whereas moving sequences would be visible in one exposure.
- Check Flash Counter: counts all flashes ever made with this unit.
- Set Flash Counter: on/off counter for when the unit is switched on.
- Check Temperature: Shows the internal unit temperature.
- Set Stand-by: Close down your unit by the click.
- Automatic Flash Head Detection: Indepedent selection of RX powerpacks.
Available to D-Lite RX ONE, 2 & 4, BRX 250 & 500 and Quadra RX & Hybrid:
- Configure Eye-Cell: Teach your units to synchronize at the correct pre-flash with Speedlites or built-in flashes. Activated by either manually entering the number of pre-flashes (up to 7) or by setting the Eye-Cell in learning mode (0). Releasing a test flash in the learning mode will teach the units how many pre-flashes are done with your Speedlite or built-in flash.
- NEW - Configure Sequential Flash: Sync up to a maximum of 20 individual flash units for 20 frames per second. With this new and unique feature it is now possible to work at any flash power to catch a moving sequence of, for example, a jumping person in up to 20 images. The best cameras nowadays allow up to 15 fps.

Last but not least, the Skyport software also features Photo-Job. This Studio Setup simulation, enables you to create diagrams of your lighting setup. Units' positions and accessories, as well as unit settings can be stored to be further reused or shared with anyone.
All you need now is an EL-Skyport USB RX module.

On top of the already existing BXRI 250 /500 compact flash series, Elinchrom offers now the BRX 250 / 500 compact line with full Computer and Wi-Fi remote options.
The speed flashtube and the housing design remain the same for both BXRI and BRX units. The additional remote options are only available for the BRX series.

Once again, the Square Reflector 44 cm is available ! After Elinchrom discontinued this expensive yet unique reflector, EL-Users have been insisting for something similar.
To answer this demand, we listened our customers and made a new version of this reflector. The new body being made of heat resistant and lightweight plastics, is now much more affordable and robust than ever.
This is a multifunctional reflector. Without Grid, it is a soft wide angle reflector. Put the honeycomb Grid in place and you are left with a soft pool of light ideal for all types of portraiture and small still life subjects. Included is also the support for Barndoors, which can be used with or without the honeycomb grids.
